Municipal campground. Fairly open area , nice showers and bathrooms. Would (will) stay here again. There is a walking path to the National park next door.On the east side of the campground is excellent view of the river valley and North Battleford. Wood is delivered by the attendence at 6pm daily. We even setup a tenet behind our trailer for kids to have some fun, no problem.A short hike away is a Fred Light museum. Again operated by the town very nicely done. Check it out when visit Battleford.
Set on the edge of the North Saskatchewan river valley, beside the historic Fort Battleford lies this little gem of a campground. It has beautiful panoramic vistas of the valley and the Battleford Flats and so many trails through the treeline surrounding the river. The Old Bridges connecting Battleford and Finlysson island are within a short walk and the trails on the island are gorgeous, especially as the leave change in the fall. Be sure to see all that Historic Battleford has to offer while you stay at this campground.
Beautifull places to sit lots of natural sights anf parks for kids to play at and horse shoe
Only stayed overnight, but it was a very nice campground. A load of wood comes with the site. Showers are free. Most sites could use more tree cover. Great view of the valley. Kids liked the playground and the free wi-fi.
Lots of space but whoever designed the layout does not camp or RV.Needed a full 50' of elect cable and 75' of water hose.Services are set up one at each end of site.pull thru's are really pull overs which leaves slide out on edge of road.
